A Mystery: What’s Happening in American Schools
and Why Aren’t Parents Aware of It?

As I contemplate what’s happening now with American schools and Western society in general– especially ideological indoctrination by schools and seeming parental indifference to it—I’m reminded of a relevant, true story.
It was in the 1870s or 1880s, a time with many parallels to today. Peretz Smolenskin, a Russian Jewish novelist, editor, and Zionist, was then living in Western Europe. A wealthy Russian Jew visited him to ask advice on what to do with his daughter. She’d been radicalized in school and joined the terrorist revolutionary movement, the People’s Will, which idealized the Russian peasantry. Members were assassinating officials and many were sent to Siberia or executed. The man complained bitterly about his problem.
Smolenskin tried to be sympathetic but was rather irritated and so ended up being quite blunt. The real cause of such problems, he told the father, was a failure of parents, not children:
“How did you bring up your daughter?….You sent her to high school, where she learned about other peoples. Did you teach her about our own people? Did you teach her our own language? Did you interest her in our own history? Did you want her to know about our own people and our own national aspirations? Hate Their Own Societies and People?

Consider this quotation from an Israeli professor which I think wonderfully symbolizes many Western intellectuals’ attitudes toward their own countries today. It reeks with hatred for their democratic, stable, prosperous societies and their fellow citizens:
“The social stage was filled with a procession of migrant workers and their…children; single mothers; people with disabilities; poor, sick, and hungry Palestinians at and beyond the checkpoint; homeless Gush Katif evacuees; victims of terror and of road accidents; residents of the north left defenseless in a war; residents of the south [of Israel] whose homes had become the front line; unprotected workers of sub-contractors and employment agencies; the unemployed and those whose income insurance had been discontinued. All had become see-through citizens whose lives were cheap and whose fate no longer engaged the government. As if from behind a thin but impenetrable veil, Israeli society regarded them all with the same glazed, phlegmatic look.”
I’m not giving the author’s name both because it isn’t important for the points I want to make and the individual in question is by no means the worst example of this type [for an explanation see note at end]. But I find this statement exemplifies the perspective that dominates so much of the thinking, teaching, and cultural products in Western democratic societies today. Government Effort to Eradicate “Toxic Waste”

Nation of Islam (NOI) leader Minister Louis Farrakhan told an audience in Memphis he believes the H1N1 flu vaccine was developed to kill millions of people throughout the world – – but most particularly blacks in America’s inner cities.
Speaking for over three hours at a gathering in Memphis to mark the 14th anniversary of the Million Man March, Mr. Farrakhan, 76, said: “The Earth can’t take 6.5 billion people. We just can’t feed that many. So what are you going to do? Kill as many as you can. We have to develop a science that kills them and makes it look as though they died in a pestilence or they died from some disease.”
The vaccine, he believes, has been developed by American scientists and government officials in an effort to cleanse the United States of its “toxic waste,” that is, its black communities.
