When will the West wake up?

Analyzing Why and How

So Many Western Intellectuals

Hate Their Own Societies and People?

by Barry Rubin of the Rubin Reports

Consider this quotation from an Israeli professor which I think wonderfully symbolizes many Western intellectuals’ attitudes toward their own countries today. It reeks with hatred for their democratic, stable, prosperous societies and their fellow citizens:

“The social stage was filled with a procession of migrant workers and their…children; single mothers; people with disabilities; poor, sick, and hungry Palestinians at and beyond the checkpoint; homeless Gush Katif evacuees; victims of terror and of road accidents; residents of the north left defenseless in a war; residents of the south [of Israel] whose homes had become the front line; unprotected workers of sub-contractors and employment agencies; the unemployed and those whose income insurance had been discontinued. All had become see-through citizens whose lives were cheap and whose fate no longer engaged the government. As if from behind a thin but impenetrable veil, Israeli society regarded them all with the same glazed, phlegmatic look.”

I’m not giving the author’s name both because it isn’t important for the points I want to make and the individual in question is by no means the worst example of this type [for an explanation see note at end]. But I find this statement exemplifies the perspective that dominates so much of the thinking, teaching, and cultural products in Western democratic societies today. Couple Cries “Blatant Discrimination”

by Michael Travis

A Muslim cab driver allegedly booted a gay couple when he spotted the couple embraced in the back of his taxi.

Paul Bruno and his partner hailed the cab Monday night at 13th Street and First Avenue in New York City, sat close to one another, and started to hug, Bruno told The New York Post.

But the cabbie, identified by Mr. Bruno and city records as Medhat Mohamed, was apparently outraged by the display of same-sex affection, pulled the cab over two blocks into the trip, and ejected them from his vehicle.

Speak of Sin; Land in Jail

Welcome to Post Christian America

by Dr. Paul L. Williams

A Christian evangelist who was once arrested, incarcerated, and charged under Pennsylvania’s hate crimes law says the federal hate crimes bill that has been signed into law by President Obama is the most dangerous laws in the history of the United States.

The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which was signed into law yesterday, creates additional penalties for violent crimes motivated by the victim’s “actual or perceived” gender, “gender identity,” sexual orientation, or disability.

Profess Christianity and Get Fired

The Future of the new hate crime legislation

by Mr. H

A man from Massachusetts has been unjustly fired for nothing more than stating an opinion. An opinion that cannot be tolerated in the homosexual community, an opinion that was a mere profession of faith only after they ( members of the homosexual community ) continued to badger this man throughout the day about a question that was raised.

A question that was answered by his profession of his faith that he believes homosexuality is wrong.

The state of Today’s Church

What, you got a problem with my Christian book?

False Prophets Everywhere,

Perversion in the pulpit,

Yet, our ears are tickled!

by Mike Hernandez

Is this Biblical teaching or secular, you decide.

I must first warn you this article is graphic in nature, and secondly I do not endorse this type of behavior whatsoever.

In addition, I also would like to remind you that before you watch or listen to any of these clips, these words you are about to hear are from a man preaching from the house of God. This is not a talk show, a paid comedy show, or a secular TV program, but at an actual church where these words are being spoken from.

If you have children around or are at work, do not watch or listen to any of these clips.

If you want to continue with this article, I want to ask each one of you who consider yourself a Christian to biblically, not secularly, but biblically defend this type of speaking in a Church from the pulpit. I want you to defend biblically this type of behavior inside or outside of the church.

Here is the information from where you can draw your own conclusions.

UPDATE: We found out about his book after we wrote this article.  This man has no ends to his vile ways…
