Welcome to Post Christian America
by Dr. Paul L. Williams
A Christian evangelist who was once arrested, incarcerated, and charged under Pennsylvania’s hate crimes law says the federal hate crimes bill that has been signed into law by President Obama is the most dangerous laws in the history of the United States.
The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act, which was signed into law yesterday, creates additional penalties for violent crimes motivated by the victim’s “actual or perceived” gender, “gender identity,” sexual orientation, or disability.

When is enough, enough?

When I see headlines such as these, and I hear no outcry from the church, or media for that matter, it sends shivers down my spine.
- NPR axes Christian radio programs
- House agrees to muzzle pastors with ‘hate crimes’ plan
- Kennedy brings ‘hate crimes’ into Senate, Matches House-approved plan to crack down on biblical teachings
It makes me ask these questions:
- What is happening to our nation?
- Why are the Christians not up in arms over this?
- Where are the church leaders speaking out against this?
