Persecution of Christians in the Muslim World
By Patrick Sookhdeo of Lausanne World Pulse
June / July 2010

While most Muslim states have signed United Nations declarations on human rights, they usually add caveats stating these are accepted as long as they do not contradict Islamic law (shari‘a). Shari‘a is inherently discriminatory to non-Muslims and strongly influences the thinking and behavior of most Muslims, whether or not it has any formal place in a country’s legislation.

Christians face a variety of situations and attitudes in Muslim majority countries. The experience of Christians in stable moderate states like Jordan is quite different from that of Christians in Iran, Saudi Arabia or Sudan.

Scotland Has Finally Lost Its Mind

I just picked up this article listed below the video titled, “Prisoner Alert!“, from The Lawman Chronicles and needed to share this immediately.

England and Scotland have finally lost their mind.  Within their borders they have Muslims who preach hate and death, and want nothing more than to kill, pillage and destroy the country, and yet parliament, the police and political pundits do nothing to stop their madness: They go out of their way to appease these barbarians.

Anjem Choudary: DEMOCRACY is No GOOD but sharia is…

Yet a man who walks their streets in peace, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ gets arrested; brought up on trumped up charges and forced to pay a $1600 fine U.S.

Luke 6:22 KJV  Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

If we Americans who call ourselves Christians do not wake up, this will happen here next.  It is only a matter of time.

Haiti Repents; America Take Notice!

Mark 1:15 NASB and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

Did Haiti have a Change of Heart?

Did they actually call out to the God of Israel?

I do not know, but if they did, may God have mercy on them: praise Jesus for the work of the Holy Spirit in that land.

America please take notice and repent before the devastation that happened in Haiti happens here.

Revelation 2:16 KJV Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Thou Shall Not Steal,

Don’t take it literal…

by Jim Turner

In yet another marvelous attempt to further destroy the teachings of the Holy Bible, Father Tim Jones – another friend of the world – tells his congregation of St Lawrence and St Hilda in York to steal, but of course not from family businesses, only from large international companies that over charge anyway.

‘I would ask that they do not steal from small family businesses, but from large national businesses, knowing that the costs are ultimately passed on to the rest of us in the form of higher prices.

I do have a question for the priest Mr. Jones, what part of thou shall not steal do you not understand?

Exodus 20:15 NASB “You shall not steal.

Is it the “you shall not” or the “not steal” part you do not understand Sir? Click here to read the entire article…

PROMINENT MUSLIM PREACHER CONDEMNS CHRISTMAS AS “EVIL”

by Paul Williams

A Muslim lawyer and preacher, who recently praised the Mumbai massacre as a glorious event, now calls upon all Muslims to condemn Christmas as evil, claiming that all celebrations of the holiday are forbidden by Allah.

The 41-year-old Anjem Choudary, in a televised sermon, further brandished yuletide festivities as “the pathway to hellfire”.

Muslim preacher Anjem Choudary has branded Christmas evil in a sermon posted on the Internet.

Choudary, who is chairman of the Society of Muslim Lawyers, said that Muslims must shun all manifestations of the holiday, including setting up a Christmas tree, decorating the house with holly, and even feeding turkey to family members and guests. Click here to read the entire article…

BISHOP ADMIRES THE TALIBAN

by Paul L. Williams

The Right Reverend Stephen Venner, the newly appointed Bishop of the Armed Forces in Britain, warned against demonizing the radical Muslim insurgents in Afghanistan by telling reporters: ”There’s a large number of things that the Taliban say and stand for which none of us in the West could approve, but simply to say therefore that everything they do is bad is not helping the situation.”

The Anglican bishop went on to say: ”The Taliban can perhaps be admired for their conviction to their faith and their sense of loyalty to each other.”

The bishop’s remarks have created a proverbial storm in the English teacup.

One member of Parliament has accused Rev. Venner of “offering comfort and succor to our enemies.”

Bob Russell, Liberal Democrat member for the garrison town of Colchester in Essex, said: ”The bishop would have been well advised to concentrate on boosting the morale of our armed forces rather than boosting the morale of our enemy.”

Bishop Venner later apologised for his comment, saying it was ”one small phrase in quite a long interview” intended to suggest that not all members of the Taliban were ”equally evil”. Click here to read the entire article…

15-Year-Old Egyptian Convert to Christianity Sends Plea to Obama

By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries

CAIRO, EGYPT (ANS) — Dina el-Gowhary, a 15-year-old Egyptian girl who converted from Islam to Christianity, has sent a plea to President Barack Obama, complaining of mistreatment by the Egyptian Government and asking for his mediation.

This has been revealed in a story by Mary Abdelmassih and posted on the Assyrian International News Agency website — www.aina.org.

“Mr. President Obama,” Dina wrote, “we are a minority in Egypt. We are treated very badly. You said that the Muslim minority in America are treated very well, so why are we not treated here likewise? We are imprisoned in our own home because Muslim clerics called for the murder of my father, and now the Government has set for us a new prison; we are imprisoned in our own country.”

Abdelmassih stated that the handwritten Arabic letter, posted on Coptic websites, also says “I am 15 years old but I still have hope that my message will reach President Obama.” Click here to read the entire article…

Political Correctness Gone Crazy

by Dr. Paul L. Williams

Muslim women in burqas can conceal AK-47s and even fully assembled grenade launchers.

They can shield a radiological device and a make shift bomb.

But a law enforcement official cannot frisk them in Canada, let alone pat-search their long black gowns or remove their hijabs to see if they are really men.

Standard police procedures are not permitted when it comes to Muslim women – – even if such procedures are undertaken for reasons of national security. Click here to read the entire article…

CHINESE CHRISTIANS CONDEMN OBAMA

President Remains Silent As Christians Suffer

U. S. Opts to Ignore Communist Persecutions

by Paul L. Williams

As President Barack Obama embarks on his first visit to China, leaders of the Chinese Christian churches are condemning his administration for its indifference to the increasing persecution of their flocks by the Communist overlords.

The latest example of that persecution came Sunday a church in Beijing was nailed shut since it failed to gain the approval of the state.

Worship in China is governed by the officially atheist Communist Party. Christians may only worship in state-approved churches.

Since such approved places of worship remain few in number, millions of Chinese Christians belong to unregistered churches and remain subject to imprisonment and official harassment.

Sunday’s closing of the Shouwang church, one of the largest underground churches in China, forced 800 members to hold worship services in a nearby park. The service didn’t last long since it was disrupted by the police. The flock finally made their way to a performance hall on the outskirts of the city.

District police referred questions regarding the shutting down of Christian churches to the Beijing public security bureau, where calls rang unanswered Sunday.
