The Bible Quiz, you ready with your modern version?

Will you get an A or an F?
I got questions,
but do you have the answers
With your modern Bibles?
As part of our series in exposing the differences with the modern versions of the Bibles, we have put together a short quiz to help show you a small sampling of what we have found. There are literally thousands of changes in these modern versions, and in some cases entire verses have been removed.
However, some modern Bibles do have extensive footnotes, while others have none, and, if you are unfortunate and own a copy without footnotes or cross references in them, then you will have no way of knowing what has been removed, or in some cases added.
This also applies to computer bible software and online reading.
In addition, some of these changes are downright dangerous, and as the bible clearly states:
Revelation 22:18-19 KJV (18) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: (19) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Before you begin, please grab a hard copy of your bible in order to see if you can answer the followings questions from the listed verses alone.
For this exercise please use any modern Bible such as; NASB, NIV, ESV, TNIV, RSV. Click here to read the entire article…
The Age of Idiocy

When It Comes to Analyzing the Middle East,
by Barry Rubin of The Rubin Reports
After more than 30 years of watching people write dumb things about the Middle East, I believe that in the last month I’ve seen more nonsense than at any previous time. The problem arises from ignorance, lack of understanding of the region by those presented as experts; plus arrogance, treating the region and the lives of people as a game (Hey, let’s try this and see what happens!), fostered by the failure of such control mechanisms as a balanced debate and editing that rejects simplistic bias or stupidity; as well as a simple lack of logic.
To put it another way, I am reading material that simultaneously has no connection with the real world, is full of internal contradictions, and often seems deliberately tailored to misrepresent events in order to prove a false thesis. Fortunately, this stuff has not done actual damage in the real world–much of it has not been implemented in policy–yet but may in future.

Anyone who dares to modify the scriptures to fit their agenda – beware!
Revelation 22:18-21 KJV (18) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: (19) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (20) He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (21) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Verse Comparison in second half of article!
As of late, our team here at the Chronicle Watch has been researching the different Bible versions that exists on the market today. We have been buying and comparing multiple copies of different versions verses by verse. As we find the differences, we take note then dive down into the Greek and Hebrew meaning of the words in order to understand the differences of translation.
In addition to the changes that we find, we have also been encountering section of verses stripped completely out of certain Bibles ( more on this later ).
One issue we will be sharing with you shortly is about is a Professor named Virginia Ramey Mollenkott who has advocated for LGBT rights and Christian feminism. In addition, she has also contributed major studies on the feminine imagery for God in the Bible, and is in support of gender inclusive language for the scriptures.
With that being said, Virginia Ramey Mollenkott also served as a stylistic consultant for the New International Version of the Bible and is an active member of the Evangelical and Ecumenical Women’s Caucus and Christian Lesbians OUT.
What we would like to share with you now is some interesting information we came across by an author by the name of Carl Graham.
Before you start, make sure you have a copy of your Bible in hand in order to cross reference everything you come across in any of the articles we post in regards to the scriptures. Click here to read the entire article…

Dont worry, your job is next. Employment is no longer a conservative value.
Make sure you are not Black, Latino, White or a Woman
As they need not apply.
Interesting, times keep getting better for the foreign worker
And more Americans on the streets.
You have to love the corporate world
According to the headline on a Mercury News article by Mike Swift, Blacks, Latinos and women are falling behind the employment curve at Silicon Valley tech companies.[Blacks, Latinos and women lose ground at Silicon Valley tech companies,By Mike Swift, San Jose Mercury News, February 13, 2010].
Oh, and buried deep into the article you will discover that whites are losing also. It was almost mentioned as an afterthought. tsk! tsk!
According to Swift, the Mercury News did a Freedom of Information Act request (FOIA) to get the data for the article. The Mercury shares only a portion of the data, so readers are left to assume Swift is competent enough to analyze the data correctly. Bad assumption! Click here to read the entire article…

NEW REPORT CONTAINS SHATTERING STATISTICS
by Michael Travis of thelastcrusade.org
The 2010 Yearbook of American and Canadian Churches , published by the National Council of Churches, appeared in bookstores today with shattering statistics on the state of Christianity in America.
Of the 25 leading denominations, only four managed to post modest gains; the others continue to decline at precipitous rates.
The Presbyterian Church USA is down 3.28% to 2.9 million members; the American Baptists down 2% to 1.3 million, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America diown 1.92% to 4.7 million.
The United Church of Christ, President Obama’s denomination, posted a loss of 3% and membership of 1,100,000. Fifty years ago, when this denomination was formed, it boasted a membership of 5,600,000 members.
Even the Southern Baptists Church, once a bastion of conservative Christianity, displayed a decline of .24 percent with a total memberships of 16.2 million.
Roman Catholics, the nation’s largest Christian denomination, grew 1.5% to 68 million members. But this growth was reflective of the mass migration of Latinos to the US and not a ground-swelling of American converts. Click here to read the entire article…

Islam is in trouble at the heart of its birthplace, Saudi Arabia, and consequently in other Muslim countries. Muslim leaders and media are desperately trying to regain control both internally and externally. Muslims are starting to openly and defiantly question; while the international image of Islam is being tarnished daily with every act of terror, hate speech and calls for jihad from the pulpits of mosques. The traditional open calls for violence and jihad Islam got away with for centuries is now under scrutiny especially after 9/11. Islam is now under the microscope. That is the quagmire of Muslims today. How can they continue teaching their basic religious jihad education but still save face and Islam’s reputation in a culture where image and honor is everything. Islam is not a Religion, it is a very dangerous political ideology that is seeking to destroy Europe and the West.
Muslims have masted the art of al taqiyya and their lies of moderation is alarming.
The next time you hear that Islam is peace, tell that to the thousands of innocents victims that have been beheaded, flogged, mutilated in the name of Islam. From this video you will witness firsthand the disregard the followers of Islam have towards woman. If Islam ever takes over our society, all you women will be treated like second class citizens at best.
