Thou Shall Not Steal,
Don’t take it literal…

In yet another marvelous attempt to further destroy the teachings of the Holy Bible, Father Tim Jones – another friend of the world – tells his congregation of St Lawrence and St Hilda in York to steal, but of course not from family businesses, only from large international companies that over charge anyway.
‘I would ask that they do not steal from small family businesses, but from large national businesses, knowing that the costs are ultimately passed on to the rest of us in the form of higher prices.

I do have a question for the priest Mr. Jones, what part of thou shall not steal do you not understand?
Exodus 20:15 NASB “You shall not steal.
Is it the “you shall not” or the “not steal” part you do not understand Sir?
Mr. Jones, this is a command from G-d, not a opinion or option. Do you of all people need to be reminded what the teachings of the apostles were? Just in case you do, I will help a little with sharpening your memory.
Let’s take a look at Ephesians 4:28.
Ephesians 4:28 NIV He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
In case you forgot how to read the Bible, in which you claim to preach from, this simply means that if you are a thief you need to stop immediately and no longer participate in the ways of evil; you cant have it both ways Mr. Jones, heaven or hell are the only options and at this rate you are sending your congregation where an inferno is their only option – James 4:4.
Rather than offering the advice of theft, have you ever thought about maybe, just maybe, having the Church help these people who are in dire need?
Just asking…
And we wonder why the United Kingdom has fallen apart.
