A man from Massachusetts has been unjustly fired for nothing more than stating an opinion. An opinion that cannot be tolerated in the homosexual community, an opinion that was a mere profession of faith only after they ( members of the homosexual community ) continued to badger this man throughout the day about a question that was raised.
A question that was answered by his profession of his faith that he believes homosexuality is wrong.
A Massachusetts man has been fired from his sales position at the Logan Airport branch in Boston of Brookstone allegedly for telling a female manager that his Christian faith says homosexuality is wrong.
Peter Vadala was fired and the company says he violated a tolerance policy. But Vadala reports his dismissal came because he expressed his Christian view of homosexuality after a female manager made repeated references as she approached him four times during work hours to her plans to marry her lesbian partner.
“At the start of the day, she told me she was getting married. I told her ‘Congratulations,’ and asked, ‘Where’s he taking you on your honeymoon?’” Vadala said.
“She replied that her partner was a ’she,’” he continued, “So I immediately tried to change the subject.
“I think she knew I was uncomfortable talking about it,” he continued. “But, she brought it up to me three more times during the day.
“After the fourth time she told me about her plan to marry her partner, I told her, ‘I think homosexuality is bad stuff,’” Vadala said.
“That’s what I said. I wasn’t rude about it and I didn’t act disrespectfully to her,” he said. “All the woman said to me as she left the store was, ‘Human Resources buddy. You keep your opinions to yourself!’”

It seems that in today’s society, tolerance is only needed if you agree, but as soon as you have an opposite opinion then you must to be terminated as your opinion cannot be tolerated in the name of tolerance.
Friends, this is a look to America’s future if we do not stand up against the injustices that are happening against Christians of this nation. Injustices for nothing more than expressing an opposing opinion. The question is, what are you who claim to be a follower of Christ going to do? Are you going to stand up for this brother in a time of crisis, or are you going to let him go down in flames as you continue to sit in silence and do nothing?
To help this man it is not difficult. All it will take is five minutes of your time to place a phone call to the Brookstone store and voice your concerns about how this brother in Christ was wrongly terminated.
You do not need to be nasty, rude, or abusive. All you need to do is politely state your position.

You will know them by their fruits, what are the fruits you are going to display? You going to stand for Christ, or sit in silence with the world?

Now that’s an obvious persecution! Blessed are you brother for Christ is with you in all this!
I pray that God will reign over all this earth!
If you can, please get all the Christian brothers and sisters that you know to call that store and voice your complaints. This man did nothing to deserve termination of employment. I pray every night that God will save us for at least 5 righteous men and women. These days is reminding me more and more like the days of Noah and this time around an ark isn’t going to help.
Many Christians love and support their homosexual friends, many of whom, no doubt, are also Christians. Do not assume that all Christians choose to hate homosexuals.
First, no one claimed to hate anyone, those are words spewing from your own mouth. You are correct however that Christians do not hate homosexuals. If you hated someone then you would not be a Christian. Now here is where you are greatly deceived. You cannot be a homosexual and a Christian as it is impossible for it is against God.
(James 4:4 NASB) You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Only those who do the will of God will enter heaven.

Mike – not sure why you picked two irrelevant scriptures for this conversation. The point is that you are choosing to judge, in the same way that Peter from Brookstone chose to judge. Thankfully, society supports tolerance over self righteous religious extremists.
You will know them by their fruit. Homosexuality is a sin against God just as is abortion, divorce, adultery, lying, stealing, etc… The verses are relevant and in context. Read your bible and repent!
