Christianity Without Prayer is Dead

To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing. – Martin Luther [1]

How many of us pray on a daily basis? How many of us have a personal relationship with God our Father in heaven asking Him to guide us with every step we take, with every word we speak?

Without pray He cannot guide us as we are not going to Him to let our request be known.

Philippians 4:6-7 NASB Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We must seek the Lord Jesus earnestly at all times – continually. Without devoting our lives to Christ, then what are we really doing?

Acts 6:4 NASB “But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

Every day we should pray, and teach the gospel to everyone.

There is only one true God, the God of Israel and the only way to salvation is through His one and only Son Jesus.

John 14:6 NASB Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Let’s get out there and teach the word of God, and pray that He will give us the strength and wisdom to do it!
