Do you profess Christ?

Every individual must make a choice.
If we profess Christ and we choose to stand for Christ, then we must strive to be righteous before God at all times, at all cost.
Why? Because God commands it from us.
1 Peter 1:14-16 NASB As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, (15) but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; (16) because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”
My friends, I will tell you that it will be an extremely difficult path to walk, and narrow will be the way, and I can assure you, you will not be able to do it on your own accord, but only with GOD and His strength will you even begin to achieve to walk for His glory and stop walking for your own.
If you want to follow God then you must put Him before yourself at all COST! You must die to the world and love what is good, not what is of the world.
James 4:4 NASB You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
A day will come when you will be put to the greatest test of your life, and yes my friends I am scared, but I know that only with GOD will we be able to live or die for His glory.
I realize now that when I pray, I must ask Him at all times for His will to be done and not my own, and if that means I must die for Him, and He must crush me for His name to be glorified, then so be it.
No, I do not want to die, but my life is in Gods hand, and His will is all that I must strive to do.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NASB (19) Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? (20) For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
And that price was the blood of Jesus Christ, the One and only Son of God!
So “Honor Him”, and no longer honor yourselves, for God must be first and foremost in your life, if you choose to follow Him and want to be a child of the living God.
Yes, by faith and faith alone we are saved!
Romans 10:8-13 NASB But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”–that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, (9) that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; (10) for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (11) For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” (12) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; (13) for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”
And if we repent and choose this gift of salvation, then you will become a new creature in Christ Jesus, and you will not want to shame God by the ways of which you used to live. You will want to honor God with every thought and deed.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 NASB (17) Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (18) Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, (19) namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. (20) Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (21) He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
My friends follow Jesus, not men. Judge yourself against the bible, not others. One day you will you stand before God Almighty, a righteous King, a holy King that will NOT judge you according to men, but rather according to His word, the Word of God!
I beg you, please go and read your bibles, and learn and study the gospel of Jesus Christ our precious Lord and Saviour, and know how we are to live a life in Christ Jesus and not a life of this world.

Awesome message and puts my focus into proper balance. Thank you for this wonderful ministry of the Truth in Jesus Christ – the Redeemer of all mankind and Lord of all! Brian
This is a great post, and to follow up on this message, I'd like to make one point. When you attend a church service, and you hear the pastor speak, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to follow up on the message you heard to make sure that what you heard is biblically correct. Many preachers in today's churches, especially in North America, are taking liberties with the Bible and speaking words that are at best inaccurate, and at worst, heresy.
When judgement day comes, you cannot stand before the Lord and say "Pastor so-and-so told me it was OK to do such-and-such". So-called biblical scholars are making it their mission to discredit the words contained in the Bible, either through attempting to disprove portions of it or stating that we are more enlightened now. Don't let the words or actions of others jeopardize the gift of an eternity with your heavenly Father.
I remember what Paul had said: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave himslef to me. Thanks brother for sharing!
