When is enough, enough, part 2

After posting the last article, “When is Enough, Enough, I saw an article that was disturbing.

I was not even thinking of writing a part 2, but this really hit my heart, and hit it hard.

Not only is our current administration trying to grants unequal protection to certain groups of people based on sexual orientation, but they willing to prosecute anyone that does not agree with the mindset of their agenda.

If we do not start speaking out as Christians, it will only continue to get worse.

The House of Representatives passed legislation last week to add sexual orientation and gender to the list of categories covered by federal “hate-crimes” laws.

“Pedophilia is one of the scores of sexual orientations that are included, that are protected, that are granted special preferred status under this legislation to the exclusion of other classifications of people,” says Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel.

Some, people say that Christians have no place in politics, or any place speaking out for the truth. I beg to differ, and if you are of that opinion, I urge you to reconsider as it is a very dangerous position to hold.

Ezekiel 2:3-7 NASB Then He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. (4) “I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’ (5) “As for them, whether they listen or not–for they are a rebellious house–they will know that a prophet has been among them. (6) “And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house. (7) “But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.

Ezekiel 3:18-19 NASB “When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. (19) “Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself.

We must speak out against these atrocities, or face the wrath of God on our own heads. Remember, all Christians are ministers of the Lord, and if we refuse to obey what he asks of us, I ask, are we for the world or for Jesus? We cannot be for both…

James 4:4 NASB You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

As Christians we have a very serious decision to make, we either stand for our Lord Jesus Christ, or we stand for the world. If we chose the world then we are an enemy of God. Before you make your decision, I urge you to pray and please choose God.

With that said, if you have not listened to the audio clip, I would strongly urge you to listen to it now. It is not very long, but extremely informative with excellent insight as to what this bill stands for.

I am amazed at the rate of the collapse of the morals in this country; in addition to the masses that our falling away from God.

Where are the cries from the media, or the Christians to stop this bill cold in its track? Where are the rallies to stop this?

What is even more disturbing is that unless we speak out and try to stop this bill, it will pass.

Right now Democrat Sens. Edward Kennedy and Patrick Leahy have produced matching legislation in the U.S. Senate, and President Obama supports the measure.

This bill is extremely unconstitutional as it grants unequal protection under the law, which is against the 14th amendment of our once cherished Constitution.

Closing

And all this takes me right back to thinking about this:

Romans 1:26-32 NASB For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, (27) and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. (28) And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, (29) being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, (30) slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, (31) without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; (32) and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

I am just speechless when I read what is going on, and I pray for our children and our children’s children that we who call ourselves Christians start standing up for the truth and try with all our might to bring God back to our nation.

My God have mercy on us all.
