When is enough, enough?

When I see headlines such as these, and I hear no outcry from the church, or media for that matter, it sends shivers down my spine.

It makes me ask these questions:

  • What is happening to our nation?
  • Why are the Christians not up in arms over this?
  • Where are the church leaders speaking out against this?

These articles brings these verses to mind:

Romans 1:21-32 NASB For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (22) Professing to be wise, they became fools, (23) and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. (24) Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. (25) For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (26) For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, (27) and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. (28) And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, (29) being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, (30) slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, (31) without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; (32) and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

This is exactly what is happening in our society today; men, women and children are refusing to follow God, they wish to strip Him right out of society and replace Him with anything that makes them feel good.

I ask again, where is the public outcry from the church? Where are the Christian men and woman stepping up to profess the truth? Where are the Christian men and women that are willing to stand up against these atrocities being committed against our Lord and Savior?

Where are they?

It is time that we here in America wake up and say – enough is enough.

It is time for Christian men and women to step up and let the truth be told. If we don’t, then who will?

Do you want your children, or your grandchildren to live in a godless society?

Only you can answer that question, and only you can make a change. Are you willing to make that change and stand up for the truth, or are you just going to stand by and let it happen right before your eyes?

Let’s pray that the Lord Jesus will give us the wisdom and strength to speak the truth and glorify His holy name.

Praise God almighty, the God of Israel, and His one and only Son, Christ Jesus!

I do worry about my children and their children. Future generations may be in real trouble. Our nation is relatively young. History shows that cultures mightier than USA turning against God did not last… Egyptians, Israel, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, etc.

I completely agree. Look at England today as well, they are completely turning from God and look at what is happening to them. Sad…

But, with God all things are possible, and we just need to keep in prayer and keep getting the truth out there.

Thank you for your comments, as they are always appreciated.

It’s so sad also reading these articles because instead of being light and salt we become like “this”. May the true rightesouness from God reign!

Being a parent to young children.. I am fearful what our world is coming too. If you don’t believe in gay marriage- you’re hateful If you are a Christian – you are judgmental… Joy from The View said two days ago.. If you don’t teach your child the scientific facts of Evolution she considers that child abuse….. wow
Your blog is a great resource. thank you.
